I’ve yet to meet anyone like Terry Knight who knows everyone, everywhere and can accomplish anything — willingly and without hesitation. Couldn’t ask for a better friend and ally in the midst of restructuring a half billion dollar REIT.

Charles Terry Knight was born in Lusk, Wyoming and graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a B.A. in Political Science.

He is best known as a marketing specialist and for producing the KFBK Real Estate & Home Show that served Northern California listeners for 21 years,as the region’s premier improvement and real estate talk show.

Media Influencer

Terry Knight, a licensed California broker and well-known air personality, was producer and host from 1995 to 2016, providing KFBK listeners and callers with Home Improvement news, information, advice and commentary. He left iHeart Media and moved to Salem Broadcasting in 2016 to host and produce The Home Show, Saturday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, on AM 1380 The Answer & Money 105.5 FM. The radio show has now moved to prime time, Fridays, 11:00 a.m. to noon.

Terry brings 40 years of radio and TV broadcasting experience to the world of Home Improvement radio. His broadcasting career combined with his three decades of Real Estate and Home Improvement experience produced a winning formula for KFBK and now Money 105.5 FM.

After Vietnam

His Sacramento radio career began after returning from the Vietnam War to embark on a broadcasting career. Terry also produced a very successful television program, Home TV, that he hosted along with Kitty O’Neil. The popular Northern California show aired from 1987 to 1998.

In addition to radio and television, his real estate expertise and marketing ability provided the perfect fit for an eleven-year career in the REIT industry. Terry served as both a marketing director and property manager for two large California-based REIT’s.

Terry was a combat intelligence officer in the Vietnam War, served 20 years for the Army National Guard and spent 10 years as Director of Public Affairs and Communications for the California State Military Department.

Home and family

Terry Knight has been married for 42 years and has two married daughters and six grandchildren.
